Parenting
Parenting was an American magazine published from 1987 to 2013, targeting new and expectant mothers and fathers. The magazine was founded by Robin Wolaner, a former executive at Apple Computer.
Parenting offered a mix of parenting advice, health information, and lifestyle content, covering everything from diapering and sleep training to education and family vacations. The magazine's content was designed to help new parents navigate the challenges of raising children, offering insights and tips from experts in the field.
Throughout its history, Parenting attracted some of the biggest names in parenting and child development as contributors, including Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, Dr. William Sears, and Dr. Laura Markham.
In 2013, the magazine was acquired by Meredith Corporation, which also publishes Parents magazine. The publication was subsequently discontinued, with its website being merged into Parents.com.
Today, Parenting continues to live on in the form of a popular website, parent.com, which features articles and resources for new and expectant parents on a range of topics, including pregnancy, infant care, and child development. The website also offers a community forum where parents can connect and share advice and support.{{Categories}}
