Photo District News

Photo District News, commonly known as PDN, is a monthly trade publication for professional photographers and others involved in the photography industry. Founded in 1980, PDN covers the full spectrum of the photography business, including photojournalism, commercial photography, advertising, fine art photography, and photographic equipment.

PDN also runs a number of annual competitions and events aimed at recognizing and promoting the work of professional photographers. These include the PDN Photo Annual, the PDN PhotoPlus International Conference and Expo, and the PDNedu Student Photo Contest.

The magazine has won numerous awards for its photojournalism and design, including numerous Folio Awards and Eddie Awards. PDN is owned by Emerald Expositions, which also owns a number of other major trade publications and events in the photography, fashion, and consumer electronics industries.

PDN is published in print and online, and also produces a variety of e-books, webinars, and other digital content aimed at photographers and photography professionals.{{Categories}}
